Automatic mobile platform refers a type of system that can be used in production as well as in other industries particularly in railway station. Our system consists of IR sensor at two ends of the platform. One end is considered as input and the other as output. Initially a mobile platform has been setup parallel with the control of pneumatic piston through the controller. The proposed system uses the sensed signals of IR sensor for opening and closing of platform with primary intimation to the passengers. It confirms the train arrival and departure using a sensor which is placed at an entry and exit of station. This system is an electro mechanical system wherever the mechanical setup is controlled by the electrical signals for completion of task.
