In this paper, we consider the problem of intercepting a target with large information uncertainties during the mid-course guidance, which will result in a large inertial error of the terminal guidance. In order to improve the interception probability, multiple intercepting flight vehicles are employed. Taking the information transmission between the flight vehicles into consideration, a novel cooperative doctrine for mid-course guidance is proposed to guarantee the interception probability with fewer intercepting flight vehicles. Then in order to maximize the interception probability of the target, an optimization problem is established to design the optimal relative motion parameters between the flight vehicle and target at the handover moment, as well as the optimal interval between the handover time of different flight vehicles. A preliminary approach is proposed and simulation experiments are carried out to show the feasibility of the proposed cooperative doctrine.
