This article shows the results of the development and modeling of a neural network control system for a two-mass electromechanical system of the main-line electric locomotive DS3. The simulation model of the electric drive of rail vehicles has the integration of the computer vision unit. The developed systems can automatically speed control rail vehicles, depending on the curvature of the track, to increase the level of automation and secure traffic.
