This paper is proposed a bearing optimization design strategy based on CFD simulation and lubrication characteristics data. Firstly, the unstructured hexahedral grid of bearing is established based on ANSYS. Then, the external load of bearing is calculated in detail by CFD method, and the flow field distribution of bearing under different structural parameters is studied by numerical simulation. Based on the simulation data, the optimization design of bearing is carried out by using genetic algorithm. The results show that the eccentricity is 0.82 and the width diameter ratio is 1.19. Under this structural parameter, the capacity of the bearing is 5300N, compared with the radial force load on the bearing 5284N, the error is less than 1%. while the average temperature rise of the fuel is 40°C and the oil film thickness is increased to 4.5 μm, which can guarantee the bearing has better lubrication performance.
