▪ It will allow time-based metering to continue more often when there is severe weather in en route airspace by providing weather-free trajectories through metered airspace before flights enter that airspace ▪ It will enable more direct routes — Especially as severe weather dissipates or evolves differently than predicted — Also in clear weather ▪ It will identify shorter routes through Special Activity Airspace when it is scheduled to be inactive ▪ It may allow traffic managers to defer or avoid implementing an Airspace Flow Program ▪ It may allow traffic managers to defer or avoid implementing Playbook Routes or to put those flights onto more efficient routes.
