The article is devoted to the problem of building a unified information system for ensuring the reliability and safety of transport systems based on system analysis, risk management, process approach and reliability theory. General mathematical approaches to the creation of a model describing processes in transport systems are considered. An algorithm and tools for analyzing the risks of hazardous situations are proposed. The problem of increasing reliability and security based on the means of control and information support within the framework of the model is analyzed. An example of modeling dangerous processes in the operation of a railway station is considered. Software and hardware are proposed that increase the reliability and safety of work at the railway station.
