Researchers and flight experts have deduced the causes of tail strike events based on aerodynamic theories and flight experience. However, it is still difficult to determine the specific reasons for tail strike. Considering the influence of different engine types on the aircraft during takeoff, in this paper, we only discuss the A320 which are equipped with LEAP engines(A320neo). More than 3500 QAR(Quick Access Recorder) sample data are analyzed, and a series of parameters are established in EMS, e.g. airport parameters, environmental parameters, basic aircraft parameters and flight parameters. Based on the stepwise regression method, a optimal multiple regression model is established by PYTHON, and the significant variables which are closely related to tail strike are found. According to the regression result, the tail strike event can be avoided by controlling the pitch attitude and airspeed in takeoff phase.
