Although modern coal mining theory and technology progress, but coal mine power system equipment failure still occurs. Therefore, fault detection and diagnosis based on time series model has become an important topic in the field of coal mine electric power equipment fault diagnosis technology. Based on this, the article taking the common troubles in the coal mine electrical equipment of the oil cylinder institutions as the research object, introduces the current situation of the development of fault diagnosis technology, the algorithm based on time sequence was introduced, and then according to the fault characteristics of the oil cylinder, using MATLAB simulation software to establish the long time series model based on temperature characteristic signal to test the oil cylinder fault diagnosis, Finally, the effect of fault detection and diagnosis is verified by experiments.
