The aim of the paper is to present the results of efficiency measurements of propellers with selected pitches dedicated to electric propulsion systems. The analysis includes both thrust characteristics and energy consumption under different operating conditions. The aim of the research is to determine the optimum propeller pitch for maximising system efficiency. The experiments were carried out under controlled laboratory conditions using modern measurement methods. The results may have important implications for the design of efficient propulsion systems in unmanned aerial vehicles. The article also provides practical tips for selecting propellers for specific applications. The obtained data enables further improvement of electric propulsion systems in terms of their efficiency and range.
