With the increasing number of the airports in the world, application of the Multilateration (MLAT) system is becoming more extensive. The MLAT system is now being applied in airports in many countries around the world. The MLAT receiver plays the main aspects of the whole MALT system. In addition, the MLAT receivers can be distributed at different locations in the airport such as tower, terminal and so on. Therefore, it is required a set of tools for monitoring status of the MLAT receiver such as Webs, A-SMGCS system and so on, so that maintenance personnel can find bugs and solve them at the first time. This paper explore the method for designing a MALT receiver's internal monitoring system to provide monitoring data source for a large integrated system with back-end access. The MALT receiver applies the complex programmable logic device (CPLD) and Microcontroller Unit (MCU) to establish the internal monitor system for collecting the monitoring data such as current, voltage, temperature, humidity and so on. Finally, the internal monitoring system provide collecting data to external the surveillance system.
