The evolution of digital modulation signals is reviewed in this article firstly, including PSK, FSK, QPSK, OQPSK, MSK etc. Secondly the modulation and demodulation of MSK are taken as a focal point and a new efficient demodulation method based on instantaneous phase information is put forward. Thirdly simulation validates the new method.
