Power measurements have been taken on a vehicle as it circulated throughout the system. The power profiles of the twenty possible origin/destination pairs on the system were taken. The power profiles are shown for two trips on the system. These profiles show the majority of the artifacts of interest. From the measurements taken, the energy required for each trip is found, along with the incremental energy for additional load. In addition, the propulsion and nonpropulsion energies are separated and it is found that the non-propulsion energy usage ranges from 28 to 73% for the different trips.
