As one of research directions of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Cooperative Vehicle Infrastructure System (CVIS) has attracted the attention of domestic and foreign researchers. CVIS is a complex large system, so it is very necessary to simulate and verify the system before put it into use. In this paper, the traffic simulation environment is built, including road network, vehicles, city environment and other traffic simulation elements. Furthermore, two scene optimization schemes are proposed: one is based on the modeling, the other is based on the rendering. And then in order to drive the virtual arm do some actions with data glove and attitude sensor, the interactive dynamic mapping method is studied. Combined with the CVIS simulation and interactive visual simulation technology, an interactive visual simulation platform is built. This platform can provide visual display, human-computer interaction and user participation to realize the combination of the macroscopic simulation and microscopic simulation of CVIS. It can also provide a more effective way for the traffic simulation. By the experiments, the interactive visual simulation platform designed in this paper can complete above functions perfectly, providing reference for the simulation and development of the CVIS.
