Oscillation of frequency in a unified power system is always a matter of concern due to load uncertainty. These oscillations are damped out with the effect of controllers. Here fractional mathematics based 1 plus TID (1plus tilt integral-derivative) controller is projected for frequency oscillation balance in this renewable energy integrated microgrid system. The desired gain factors of the 1plus TID controller for minimal frequency deviations is attained employing marine predator algorithm (MPA). To imbalance the load and generation an abrupt perturbation of load of 5% is set in the microgrid system. The outcome of the microgrid system (power and frequency oscillations) is evaluated in view of response evaluative factors, i.e. negative and positive peak and settling time. The ascendency of the results of 1plus TID controller is confirmed by comparing the outcomes with existing PID controller. In the later stage the usefulness of the projected 1plus TID controller is watched for arbitrary demand variations in the microgrid system.
