A multi-dimensional dynamic digital twin model based on geometric-physical-behavioural-rule is proposed to address the shortcomings of the current ship block docking control process, which relies on manual work and has a low degree of visualisation. The model can simulate the ship block docking process based on data such as ship block key measurement point information, attitude adjustment equipment information and assembly planning. In order to carry out the testing and validation of the model, we conducted docking experiments with the same scale-down experimental model of the ship block and the ship platform trolley as the attitude adjustment equipment. The results show that the model can be effectively demonstrated.
