Disclosed are a floating photovoltaic panel installation structure which has a lightweight characteristic and exhibits excellent strength and buoyancy performance, and is able to stably support a photovoltaic panel on water even when the water surface moves by waves, and a buoyant body for installing a floating photovoltaic panel. A floating photovoltaic panel installation structure according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises at least one unit floating structure for supporting a photovoltaic panel on water, wherein the unit floating structure comprises: a plurality of buoyant bodies arranged to be separated from each other; photovoltaic panel support structures supported on the plurality of buoyant bodies; a triangular bracket which is coupled to the plurality of photovoltaic panel support structures; a ball joint hinge device for connecting the plurality of photovoltaic panel support structures; and at least one photovoltaic panel supported by the photovoltaic panel support structures.
