A battery pack module has a casing including at least one inlet for a coolant to enter the battery pack module and at least one outlet for the coolant to exit the battery pack module. A plurality of battery cell rows are arranged in the casing, each battery cell row comprising a set of battery cells in which each battery cell is arranged in abutment with at least one consecutive battery cell, whereby the plurality of battery cell rows form a plurality of battery cell walls, whereby the battery cell walls form a plurality of sections of a flow channel, allowing the coolant to flow from the inlet to the outlet.
