A vehicle computing system can receive sensor data from a sensor system of the vehicle. The system can dynamically determine, based on the sensor data, a severity percentage and a controllability percentage for each of a plurality of vehicle safety systems of the vehicle. Based on the severity percentage and the controllability percentage for a particular vehicle safety system of the plurality of vehicle safety systems, the vehicle computing system can dynamically determine whether a triggering condition for the particular vehicle safety system is met, and in response to determining that the triggering condition for the particular vehicle safety system is met, the vehicle computing system can implement a mitigation measure corresponding to the particular vehicle safety system.
