The medical facility, such as e.g. a hospital, has a plurality of facility units, comprising a plurality of mobile medical components, which are connected to each other via a communication link and communicate continuously, in order via a communication protocol cooperatively to supervise and/or control the movement of each mobile medical component of the plurality of mobile medical components in the medical facility and/or in the facility units.
