On a tooth face (F) of a tooth (12) of the sprocket (10), a portion of a tooth base on at least one side of a center line (O1) of the tooth (12) is a tooth base surface (12b), and the tooth base surface (12b) is inclined relative to the center line (O1) of the tooth (12) at an angle (A1) in a range of 0° or greater to 7.5° or less so as to approach the center line (O1) of the tooth (12) towards a tooth tip surface (12d).
