A housing 2 of a HVAC unit 1 defines therein an air feed passage. Two insertion/ejection slots 31 and 32 are formed in mutually different surfaces of the housing 2. The condenser 13 for heat pump cycle is mounted in the housing 2 by being inserted through the insertion/ejection slot 31 formed in the lower surface of the housing 2. The heater core 14 is mounted in the housing 2 by being inserted through the insertion/ejection slot 32 formed in a side surface of the housing 2. In place of the heater core 14, an electric heater (PTC heater 15) may be mounted in the housing 2.
