Way to increase the efficiency of the AC electric locomotive in the regenerative braking mode is that when the steering impulse of control is passed to one of the thyristor arms of the rectifier-inverter converter, depending on the regulation zone and the direction of the electromotive force of the traction transformer, the control unit generates and provides for the new steering pulses, which are intended for the shoulders, the operation of which excludes the formation of the short circuit in the circuit. Device for implementing the efficiency of the rectifier-inverter converter includes the control pulse tracking units, which are installed directly on each converter. Tracking units consist of two parallel groups of diodes that, with their anode group, are connected to the wires, which are suitable for the thyristor arms of the converter, and with the cathode group – to the two wires, which return to the control unit.EFFECT: technical result consists in increased efficiency of the rectifier-inverter converter of the electric locomotive.2 cl, 6 dwg
