A battery diagnosis apparatus, according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document, comprises: a charging and discharging unit that charges and discharges a battery in a constant current (CC) mode or a constant voltage (CV) mode; an information obtainment unit that measures a voltage or temperature of the battery; and a controller that diagnoses the state of the battery on the basis of at least one of a range of voltage changes for a preset period of time or an amount of temperature changes from the time at which a charging mode is switched.
