According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for estimating a battery soc comprises: a charging and discharging unit configured to charge and discharge a battery according to a control signal; a measuring unit configured to measure a voltage of the battery during a charging and discharging process of the battery; and a control unit configured to transmit the control signal to the charging and discharging unit and estimate the soc of the battery based on a preset reference profile from an soc in which a voltage change amount before and after a pause section is greater than or equal to a preset threshold value when the battery is charged.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 배터리 SOC 추정 장치는 제어 신호에 따라 배터리를 충방전하도록 구성된 충방전부; 상기 배터리의 충방전 과정에서 상기 배터리의 전압을 측정하도록 구성된 측정부; 및 상기 충방전부로 상기 제어 신호를 송신하고, 상기 배터리의 충전 시 휴지 구간 전후의 전압 변화량이 기설정된 임계값 이상인 SOC에서 미리 설정된 기준 프로파일에 기반하여 상기 배터리의 SOC를 추정하도록 구성된 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
