According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric propulsion ship is provided. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an electric propulsion ship comprises: a hull; a fuel tank installed in the hull, and storing liquefied natural gas therein; a reformer receiving the liquefied natural gas from the fuel tank to reform the liquefied natural gas to generate reformed gas including hydrogen; a fuel cell generating electricity by electrochemically reacting the reformed gas supplied to a fuel electrode and air supplied to an air electrode; a propeller motor generating propulsion with the electricity generated in the fuel cell; and a carbon dioxide collection module passing fuel electrode discharge gas including carbon dioxide discharged from the fuel electrode through a separation membrane to remove the carbon dioxide included in the fuel electrode discharge gas.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 의해전기 추진 선박이 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 전기 추진 선박은, 선체와, 선체에 설치되며, 내부에 액화천연가스를 저장하는 연료탱크와, 연료탱크로부터 액화천연가스를 공급받아 개질하여 수소를 포함하는 개질가스를 생성하는 개질기와, 연료극에 공급된 개질가스와, 공기극에 공급된 공기를 전기 화학적으로 반응시켜 전기를 생성하는 연료전지와, 연료전지에서 생성된 전기로 추진력을 생성하는 추진기모터, 및 연료극에서 배출되는 이산화탄소를 포함하는 연료극배출가스를 분리막에 통과시켜 연료극배출가스에 포함된 이산화탄소를 제거하는 이산화탄소포집모듈을 포함할 수 있다.
