[과제] 전동 모터의 냉각을 간단한 구성으로 실현하여, 전동 모터를 장시간 안정적인 출력으로 구동시킬 수 있는 전동 세일 드라이브와, 상기 전동 세일 드라이브를 구비한 선박을 제공한다. [해결 수단] 전동 세일 드라이브는, 전동 모터와, 전동 모터에 의해서 구동되는 드라이브 유닛과, 드라이브 유닛의 내부의 윤활유를, 전동 모터를 개재하여 순환시키는 펌프를 구비한다.

    [Problem] Provide an electromotive sail drive that, with a simple configuration, realizes cooling of an electromotive motor thereby to make it possible to drive the electromotive motor with output stable for a long time, and also provide a ship provided with the electromotive sail drive.[Solution] An electromotive sail drive includes: an electromotive motor; a drive unit that is driven by the electromotive motor; and a pump that circulates, via the electromotive motor, a lubricant oil inside the drive unit.
