Disclosed are a system and a method for discharging residual water of a fuel cell vehicle. The system comprises: a fuel cell; a discharger discharging residual water of the fuel cell; and a controller discharging the residual water of the fuel cell through the discharger in advance before hydrogen charging, stopping the starting of the fuel cell, and converting the vehicle into an EV mode when a hydrogen charging situation of the vehicle is recognized.

    연료전지; 연료전지의 잔존수를 배출하는 배출기; 및 차량의 수소충전 필요상황이 인식된 경우, 수소충전 이전에 미리 배출기를 통하여 연료전지의 잔존수를 배출하고 연료전지의 시동을 정지하며 차량을 EV모드로 전환하는 제어기;를 포함하는 연료전지 차량의 잔존수 배출 시스템 및 방법이 소개된다.
