Disclosed are a safety control method of a fuel cell vehicle and a safety control system thereof, which comprises: a step in which a hydrogen pressure sensor measures the supply pressure of hydrogen at an anode entrance unit of a fuel cell stack; a step in which a controller determines whether the hydrogen pressure sensor is abnormal based on the supply pressure of the hydrogen measured in the hydrogen pressure sensor; a step of, in case the controller determines that the hydrogen pressure sensor is abnormal, determining whether an excessive amount of hydrogen is introduced into a fuel cell stack based on an opening amount control signal of the hydrogen supply valve; and a step of, in case the controller determines that an excessive amount of hydrogen is being introduced thereinto, outputting an abnormal detection signal. Therefore, an excessive amount of hydrogen can be prevented from being introduced.

    수소압력센서에서 연료전지 스택의 애노드 입구부 수소의 공급압력을 측정하는 단계, 제어기에서 수소압력센서에서 측정된 수소의 공급압력에 기반하여 수소압력센서의 이상 여부를 판단하는 단계, 제어기에서 수소압력센서가 이상이 있는 것으로 판단된 경우, 수소공급밸브의 개도량 조절신호에 기반하여 연료전지 스택 내부로 수소의 과다 유입 여부를 판단하는 단계 및 제어기에서 수소가 과다 유입되는 것으로 판단된 경우, 이상 감지신호를 출력하는 단계를 포함하는 연료전지 차량의 안전 제어방법 및 그 안전 제어시스템이 소개된다.
