According to an aspect of the present invention, the method for recognizing a vehicle based on an SVM camera image can comprise: a step of acquiring an image photographed by an SVM camera during driving; a step of determining the time zone based on the acquired image; a step of performing the object recognition based on the determined time zone; a step of determining the image coordinates of a rear vehicle based on the result of the object recognition; and a step of converting the determined image coordinates into distance. Therefore, a collision with a rear vehicle can be more effectively prevented.
본 발명은 후방 카메라 영상 기반 차량 인식 방법 및 그를 위한 장치 및 차량에 관한 것으로서, 일측면에 따른 차량에서의 후방 차량 인식 방법은 주행 중 후방 카메라에 의해 촬영된 영상을 획득하는 단계와 상기 획득된 영상에 기반하여 시간대를 결정하는 단계와 상기 결정된 시간대에 기반한 객체 인식을 수행하는 단계와 상기 객체 인식 결과에 기반하여 후방 차량의 영상 좌표를 결정하는 단계와 상기 결정된 영상 좌표를 거리로 변환하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
