A valet mode control method for a vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: setting a valet mode; when the valet mode is set, determining the parking environment of a vehicle parked in a parking area; and outputting a first signal that allows parking in the parking area or a second signal that does not allow parking in the parking area depending on whether the parking environment of the vehicle is satisfied, wherein the step of determining the parking environment of the vehicle includes varying whether to restrict vehicle control or the degree of restriction depending on the determined parking environment. According to the present invention, valet parking can be guided to a more stable parking area by considering the characteristics of an eco-friendly vehicle and the surrounding situation of parking areas.
본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 차량의 발레 모드 제어 방법은 발레 모드로 설정하는 단계, 상기 발레 모드로 설정되면, 주차 구역에서 주차 중인 차량의 주차 환경을 판단하는 단계 및 상기 차량의 주차 환경에 만족 여부에 따라 상기 주차 구역에 주차를 허용하는 제1 신호 또는 상기 주차 구역에 주차를 허용하지 않는 제2 신호를 출력하는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 차량의 주차 환경을 판단하는 단계는, 판단된 상기 주차 환경에 따라 차량 제어의 제한 여부 또는 제한 정도를 서로 달리하는 것을 포함한다.
