The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for charging a battery of an electrification vehicle, which use wind power to charge the battery, wherein the apparatus comprises a wind turbine for performing wind power generation in conjunction with a motor, a disconnector for connecting or disconnecting the motor and a driving system, a detector for detecting wind information, and a controller for controlling the disconnector based on a battery SOC in a stopped state to disconnect the motor and the driving system, determining the possibility of the wind power generation based on the wind information, starting the wind power generation by applying starting torque to the motor when the wind power generation is possible, and charging a battery by the wind power generation.

    본 발명은 풍력 발전을 이용하여 배터리를 충전하는 전동화 차량의 배터리 충전 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 모터와 연동하여 풍력 발전을 수행하는 풍력 터빈, 상기 모터와 구동계를 연결하거나 해제하는 디스커넥터, 바람 정보를 검출하는 검출기, 및 정차 상태에서 배터리 SOC를 토대로 상기 디스커넥터를 제어하여 상기 모터와 상기 구동계의 연결을 해제하고, 상기 바람 정보에 기초하여 상기 풍력 발전의 가능 여부를 판단하고, 상기 풍력 발전이 가능한 경우 상기 모터에 기동 토크를 인가하여 상기 풍력 발전을 시작하고, 상기 풍력 발전을 통해 배터리를 충전하는 제어기를 포함한다.
