The present invention relates to an adaptive camera system for an autonomous vehicle, which comprises: a variable view angle camera whose view angle can be linearly variable; an image signal processor (ISP) performing the image quality improvement motion; a surrounding object analysis unit performing the object detection motion for an output image of the ISP, and identifying the object density and the presence or absence of a nearby object; an image photographing environment analysis unit analyzing the output image of the ISP through a pre-trained neural network model and identifying the image photographing environment corresponding to the camera image; a view angle control unit receiving driving status information and a precise map from an external device, and identifying the vehicle situation by considering all of the driving status information, the precise map, the result of detecting surrounding objects, and the image photographing environment, and calculating a view angle corresponding to the vehicle situation, and reflecting the view angle in the variable view angle camera in real time; and an output unit outputting the output image of the ISP. Therefore, autonomous driving can be more effectively supported with higher reliability.

    본 발명은 자율주행자동차용 적응형 카메라 시스템에 관한 것으로, 이는 화각을 선형적으로 가변할 수 있는 가변 화각 카메라; 영상 품질 개선 동작을 수행하는 ISP(Image Signal Processo); 상기 ISP의 출력 영상에 대한 객체 검출 동작을 수행하여, 객체 밀집도와 인접 객체의 존재 여부를 파악하는 주변 객체 분석부; 카메라 영상에 상응하는 영상 촬영 환경이 사전 학습된 신경망 모델을 통해 상기 ISP의 출력 영상을 분석하여 영상 촬영 환경을 파악하는 영상 촬영 환경 분석부; 외부 장치로부터 주행 상태 정보와 정밀 지도를 제공받고, 주행 상태 정보, 정밀 지도, 주변 객체 검출 결과 및 영상 촬영 환경을 모두 고려하여 차량 상황을 파악한 후, 상기 차량 상황에 상응하는 화각을 산출하고 상기 가변 화각 카메라에 실시간 반영하는 화각 제어부; 및 상기 ISP의 출력 영상을 출력하는 출력부를 포함한다.
