A quad-lobe type pressure vessel having a vertical asymmetric shape is disclosed. The quad-lobe type pressure vessel according to the present invention has a cross-sectional area of an upper tank designed to be larger than that of a lower tank so that there is an effect of enabling loading of more cargo under same design conditions than a case where cross-sectional areas of the upper and lower tanks are formed to be the same. The quad-lobe type pressure vessel is a combination of four spherical tanks, including a lower left tank, a lower right tank, an upper left tank, and an upper right tank.
