The present invention relates to a route continuity operation search apparatus and a method thereof, which recognize the accurate current location of a vehicle operating on a set route by searching for the continuity operation status of the route in the vehicle. The route continuity operation search apparatus receives route operation information through a control server to store the route operation information, aligns the node sequence of a stored route, receives GPS coordinates through a GPS module when vehicle operation is started, calculates the distance between a node and the current location based on node information of the registered route operation information and the received GPS coordinates, determines the validity of the distance between the node and the current location based on the calculated distance to store the currently detected node information in a node buffer if the calculated distance is valid, checks the continuity of the stored node information to determine only node information with continuity as node information, and accurately searches for the route continuity operation status through the process of processing information of corresponding nodes.

    정해진 노선을 운행하는 차량에서, 노선의 연속성 운행 유무를 탐색하여 정확한 현재 위치를 인식하도록 한 노선 연속성 운행 탐색장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 관제 서버를 통해 노선 운행 정보를 수신하여 저장하고, 저장한 노선의 노드 순서를 정렬하며, 차량 운행이 시작되면 GPS 모듈을 통해 GPS 좌표를 수신하고, 수신한 GPS 좌표와 등록된 노선 운행 정보의 노드 정보를 기초로 현재 위치와 노드와의 거리를 계산하며, 계산한 거리를 기초로 현재 위치와 노드 간 거리의 유효성을 판단하여 계산한 거리가 유효할 경우, 현재 검지한 노드 정보를 노드 버퍼에 저장하고, 저장된 노드 정보의 연속성을 확인하여, 연속성을 갖는 노드 정보만 노드 정보로 판단하고, 해당 노드의 정보를 처리하는 과정을 통해, 노선 연속성 운행 유무를 정확하게 탐색한다.
