An ion filter apparatus for a fuel cell vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a filter housing having a coolant inlet on a bottom surface thereof and a coolant outlet on a top thereof; an ion cartridge detachably mounted inside the filter housing, having a coolant inlet at a portion thereof corresponding to the coolant inlet, and having a plurality of pressing projections downwardly protruding around the coolant inlet; a lower housing mounted on the bottom surface of the filter housing so as to cover the coolant inlet, and having an inlet port for receiving a coolant from an outside; and a sealing ball mounted inside the lower housing so as to close the coolant inlet, and pressed downwardly by the pressing projections so as to open the coolant inlet when the ion cartridge is mounted inside the filter housing. The ion filter apparatus for a fuel cell vehicle according to the present invention has the advantages that a cooling water flow channel is automatically closed when the ion cartridge is detached, the cooling water flow channel is automatically opened when the ion cartridge is attached, and a structure for opening and closing the cooling water flow channel is very simple so that manufacturing costs can be reduced and durability can be improved.

    본 발명에 의한 연료전지 자동차용 이온필터장치는, 바닥면에 냉각수 유입구가 형성되고 상부에 냉각수 유출구가 형성되는 필터하우징; 상기 필터하우징 내부에 착탈 가능한 구조로 장착되되, 상기 냉각수 유입구와 대응되는 부위에 냉각수 유입부가 형성되고, 상기 냉각수 유입부 주변에 하향으로 돌출되는 복수 개의 가압돌기가 구비되는 이온카트리지; 상기 냉각수 유입구를 덮도록 상기 필터하우징의 저면에 장착되며, 외부로부터 냉각수가 공급되는 유입포트를 구비하는 하부하우징; 상기 냉각수 유입구를 폐쇄시키도록 상기 하부하우징 내부에 장착되되, 상기 이온카트리지가 상기 필터하우징 내부에 장착되었을 때 상기 가압돌기에 의해 하향 가압되어 상기 냉각수 유입구를 개방시키는 씰링볼;을 포함하여 구성된다. 본 발명에 의한 연료전지 자동차용 이온필터장치는, 이온카트리지가 탈거되었을 때 냉각수 유로가 자동으로 폐쇄되고, 이온 카트리지가 장착되었을 때 냉각수 유로가 자동으로 개방되며, 냉각수 유로를 개폐시키는 구조가 매우 단순하게 구성되어 제조비용 절감 및 내구성 향상이 가능해진다는 장점이 있다.
