The present invention relates to a carpet with improved sound-absorbing performance and a method for manufacturing the same, and more specifically, to a carpet which comprises: an outermost layer which includes ester-based fiber; an intermediate layer which includes hollow fiber with the porosity of 35 % or more; and a film layer which includes polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber in a multilayer form. The sound absorption coefficient at 2 to 4 KHz is 0.8 or more.

    본 발명은 흡음성능이 향상된 카페트 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는, 에스테르계 섬유를 포함하는 최외곽층; 중공률이 35% 이상인 중공섬유를 포함하는 중간층; 및 다층(Multi-Layer) 형태의 폴리에틸렌 테레프탈레이트(PET) 섬유를 포함하는 필름층;을 포함하고, 2KHz 내지 4KHz에서의 흡음계수가 0.8 이상인 것인 카페트에 관한 것이다.
