The present invention relates to a vehicle and a vehicle control method. An objective of the present invention is to provide parking information or driving information for safety to a driver of the vehicle by considering an obstacle on both sides of the vehicle when parking or driving the vehicle. Therefore, the vehicle control method according to the present invention comprises the following steps of: measuring a side surface distance, which is a distance between the obstacle located next to the vehicle and the side surface of the vehicle; and providing the information based on the measured side surface distance.

    본 발명은 차량 및 차량 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 차량의 주차 시 또는 주행 시 차량 양 옆의 장애물을 고려하여 안전을 위한 주차 정보 또는 주행 정보를 차량의 운전자에게 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 발명에 따른 차량 제어 방법은, 차량의 옆에 위치한 장애물과 상기 차량의 측면 사이의 거리인 측면 거리를 측정하는 단계와; 측정된 상기 측면 거리에 기초한 정보를 제공하는 단계를 포함한다.
