The present invention relates to a low-power lateral hazard detection system for self-driving trams using an infrared sensor. The low-power lateral hazard detection system can use an infrared sensor to prevent door jamming and collision accidents that occur during tram operation, can use an alarm to recognize the current hazardous situation and operate the alarm only when it is determined that the operation is required, can remove background signals, thereby increasing accuracy, can adjust the output according to the intensity of sunlight, thereby being operated at low power, and can be operated at low power, be easily maintained, transmit hazard detection results to a self-driving tram, and intuitively identify a stable state of a station through traffic light control, thereby increasing operational efficiency and improving the driving safety of the self-driving tram. The low-power lateral hazard detection system comprises: an infrared sensor unit; a sensor control unit; and a determination unit generating and outputting warning information when determining, as a hazardous situation, a value detected by the infrared sensor unit.

    본 발명은 적외선 센서를 이용한 자율주행 트램의 저전력 측방 위험검지 시스템에 관한 것으로, 적외선센서를 이용해 트램 운행시 발생하는 문끼임 사고 및 충돌 사고를 예방할 수 있고 알람을 이용하여 현재 위험에 처한 상황을 인지할 수 있으면서도 구동이 필요하다고 판단된 경우만 작동시키고, 백그라운드(Background) 신호를 제거함으로써 정확도를 높이며, 햇빛의 세기에 따라 출력을 조절함으로써 저전력 구동이 가능하며, 저전력으로 구동이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 유지 보수가 용이하고 위험 감지 결과를 자율주행 트램으로 전송함은 물론 신호등 제어를 통해 정거장 안정 상태를 직관적으로 확인할 수 있도록 하여 운영효율을 높이고 자율주행 트램의 주행 안전성을 향상시킬 수 있는 적외선 센서를 이용한 자율주행 트램의 저전력 측방 위험검지 시스템을 제공한다.
