The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cab roof fairing installed on a roof of a specially equipped vehicle, which includes an SMC preparation step of impregnating a glass fiber reinforcing material into a resin compound to generate SMC, a thermal compression molding step of filling the SMC into a mold to which a block core is applied and performing thermal compression molding to create the cap roof fairing, and a surface treatment step of coating the cap roof fairing with a plating solution, so that it is possible to manufacture the cap roof fairing using SMC with improved strength and reduced weight.
본 발명은, 특장차의 지붕에 설치되는 캡 루프 페어링 제작 방법에 관한 것으로, 레진 컴파운드에 유리 섬유 보강재를 함침하여 SMC를 생성하는 SMC 준비단계, 상기 SMC를 블록 코어를 적용한 금형에 충진하고, 열 압축 성형하여 캡 루프 페어링을 생성하는 열 압축 성형단계 및 상기 캡 루프 페어링에 도금액을 입히는 표면처리단계를 포함하여, 강도가 향상되고, 무게가 경량화된 SMC를 이용한 캡 루프 페어링을 제작할 수 있다.
