The present invention relates to a ball for a ball valve and, more specifically, to a ball for a ball valve and a ball valve for a vehicle heat pump system using the same, wherein, as for a ball valve which is used only as an expansion valve, an unnecessary transport hole for a bypass fluid is not required to be processed to reduce fabrication costs of a ball for an expansion valve. An expansion recess is lengthily formed on the location where the transport hole has been placed such that the expansion recess may be finely adjusted to the maximum extent, thereby enabling the most precise control. When both the left and right exits are used as an expansion exit, the length of the expansion recess may be lengthily formed to the location where the transport hole has been placed. Therefore, after the assembly with a valve spindle, expansion is enabled with a slight rotation of the valve spindle, thereby providing a very high reaction speed. To this end, the ball for a ball valve according to the present invention has a spindle coupling groove which is provided at a predetermined width and depth from the spherical surface to the spherical center to be installed at a valve block at which an inlet and first and second outlets are formed, while being coupled to the valve spindle rotated by a rotating drive so as to be synchronously rotated. The present invention further comprises an expansion recess (expansion groove) which is provided at a predetermined width, depth and length in a transverse direction along the spherical surface with the greatest radius among the spherical surfaces of the valve ball without a communicating hole, and is spaced apart from the spindle coupling groove at 90 degrees while bypassing the same.

    본 발명은 볼밸브용 볼에 관한 것으로, 특히 팽창밸브로만 사용하는 경우의 볼밸브에서 불필요한 바이패스용 유체의 이송공을 가공하지 않아도 되어 팽창밸브용 볼의 제작비용이 저렴하게 됨은 물론, 팽창리세스가 이송공이 있던 위치까지 길게 형성되어 팽창리세스를 최대한 미세조정하는 것이 가능하게 되므로 최대한 정밀한 제어가 가능하게 되는 한편, 좌,우측의 출구를 모두 팽창출구로 사용할 경우에 팽창리세스의 길이가 이송공이 있던 위치까지 길게 형성될 수 있어서 밸브스핀들에 조립후 밸브스핀들을 조금만 회전시켜도 팽창이 이루어지므로 반응속도가 매우 빠르도록 된 볼밸브용 볼과 이를 이용한 차량의 히트펌프시스템용 볼밸브에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 볼밸브용 볼은, 유입구와 제1,2유출구가 형성된 밸브블록에 설치됨과 더불어 회전드라이브에 의해 회전하는 밸브스핀들과 결합되어 동기적으로 회전할 수 있도록 구표면에서 구중심을 향해 일정한 폭과 깊이로 스핀들결합홈이 구비되되, 이 스핀들결합홈과 90도 각도로 이격됨과 더불어 바이패스되는 유통공이 없는 밸브용 볼의 구표면 중에서 가장 반경이 큰 구표면을 따라 횡방향으로 일정한 폭과 깊이 및 길이의 팽창리세스(팽창홈)가 형성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
