The present invention relates to a transmittance-variable optical stack and a manufacturing method therefor, a smart window comprising the same and a vehicle applied with the same. The optical stack includes polarizing plates stacked on both surfaces thereof with a liquid crystal layer, driven according to an electric field, interposed therebetween, wherein the polarizing plates comprise a polarizer and a protective layer formed on at least one surface of the polarizer, a transparent conductive layer is in direct contact with at least one polarizing plate among the polarizing plates stacked on both surfaces and comprises at least a metal layer and a transparent conductive oxide layer, and the optical stack has a total light transmittance that changes according to the application of voltage.

    본 발명은, 전계에 따라 구동되는 액정층을 사이에 두고, 양면에 적층된 편광판을 포함하는 광학 적층체에 있어서, 상기 편광판은 편광자 및 상기 편광자의 적어도 일면 상에 형성된 보호층을 포함하고, 투명 도전층은, 상기 양면의 편광판들 중 적어도 어느 하나의 편광판과 직접 접촉하여 형성되며, 상기 투명 도전층은, 적어도 금속층 및 투명 도전성 산화물층을 포함하며, 상기 광학 적층체는 전압 인가에 따라 전광선 투과율이 변화되는, 투과율 가변 광학 적층체 및 이의 제조방법과, 이를 포함하는 스마트 윈도우 및 이를 적용한 자동차에 관한 것이다.
