Disclosed are an apparatus and method for predicting the remaining useful life of a train. The apparatus for predicting the remaining useful life of a train according to the present invention comprises: a learning data generation unit which generates remaining useful life for learning in units of a preset time by using a train operation record file and a failure record file for failures occurring during the operation of a train; and a remaining useful life prediction unit which predicts the remaining useful life for newly measured data through a machine learning model, based on the data in the train operation record file and the failure record file and the remaining useful life for learning generated by the learning data generation unit.

    열차의 잔여유효수명 예측 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 열차의 잔여유효수명 예측 장치는 열차운행기록파일과 열차 운행시 발생되는 고장에 대한 고장기록파일을 이용하여 기 설정된 시간 단위로 학습용 잔여유효수명을 생성하는 학습 데이터 생성부; 및 상기 열차운행기록파일과 상기 고장기록파일 내 데이터와 상기 학습 데이터 생성부에 의해 생성된 학습용 잔여유효수명을 토대로, 새롭게 측정된 데이터에 대한 잔여유효수명을 기계학습 모델을 통해 예측하는 잔여유효수명 예측부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
