A peak load power generation facility using a scrapped ship according to the present invention includes: a floating body using a scrapped ship disposed in a state of floating on the sea, having a first space for storing power generation water at the top and a second space for storing the power generation water at the top by falling downward; a power generation facility provided between the first space and the second space and generating power through a turbine rotated by falling power generation water; and a pumping unit for pumping the generated water accommodated in the second space back to the first space, thereby capable of generating power when a peak load of power occurs.
