The present invention relates to a vehicle control system using biometric information, capable of preventing vehicle theft and the like. The vehicle control system using the biometric information includes: a biometric information registering unit installed in the vehicle, and receiving the input on the biometric information on a guest; a guest registration managing unit registering the biometric information on the guest registered through the biometric information registering unit in the vehicle or deleting the biometric information on the guest from the vehicle; a vehicle state detecting unit detecting the state of a door or the ignition (IGN) state of the vehicle; and a vehicle control unit controlling the IGN of the vehicle so that the IGN of the vehicle is turned on during an allowed engine operation time of the vehicle by a guest driver by generating the allowed engine operation time of the vehicle, wherein the allowed engine operation time is time for activating the IGN of the vehicle. Also, the vehicle control unit detects whether the IGN state becomes inactivated after initializing a door locking time when the IGN state is activated within the allowed engine operation time. Moreover, the vehicle control unit controls the biometric information registering unit so that the biometric information on the guest registered in the vehicle is deleted depending on the state of the door when the IGN state becomes inactivated after the IGN state is activated.

    본 발명은 생체 정보를 이용한 차량 제어 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 차량 내부에 구비되어 게스트의 생체 정보를 입력받는 생체 정보 등록부; 생체 정보 등록부를 통해 등록된 게스트의 생체 정보를 차량에 등록하거나 삭제하는 게스트 등록 관리부; 차량의 IGN 상태 및 도어의 상태를 검출하는 차량 상태 검출부; 및 게스트의 생체 정보가 등록되면, 차량의 IGN을 활성화할 수 있는 시간인 차량의 엔진 가동 허용 시간을 생성하여 게스트 운전자로 하여금 엔진 가동 허용 시간동안 차량의 IGN가 ON이 될 수 있도록 제어하되, 엔진 가동 허용 시간 내에 IGN 상태가 활성화되면, 도어 잠금 시간을 초기화한 후 IGN 상태가 비활성화 상태가 되는지를 검출하고, IGN 상태가 활성화된 후 비활성화 상태가 되면, 도어의 상태에 따라 차량에 등록된 게스트의 생체 정보가 삭제되도록 생체 정보 등록부를 제어하는 차량 제어부를 포함한다.
