The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling a battery SOC of a hybrid vehicle and a method thereof. The apparatus for controlling the battery SOC of the hybrid vehicle according to the present invention comprises at least one processor. When a destination is set, the processor activates an SOC setting function to set the battery SOC when driving of the vehicle ends. In addition, the processor checks whether the set battery SOC is equal to or less than the SOC which can be charged with high efficiency. If the set battery SOC is less than the SOC which can be charged with the high efficiency, the processor controls the battery SOC so that the battery SOC reaches the set battery SOC when the vehicle arrives at the destination.
본 발명은 하이브리드 차량의 배터리 SOC 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 적어도 하나의 프로세서를 포함하고, 상기 프로세서는, 목적지가 설정되면 SOC 설정 기능을 활성화하여 차량의 운행 종료 시 배터리 SOC를 설정하고, 설정된 배터리 SOC가 고효율로 충전 가능한 SOC 이하인지를 확인하고, 상기 설정된 배터리 SOC가 고효율로 충전 가능한 SOC 이하이면, 상기 차량이 목적지 도착 시 배터리 SOC가 상기 설정된 배터리 SOC에 도달하도록 배터리 SOC 제어를 수행한다.
