The present invention relates to an insulation system for a liquefied gas storage tank, in which a second barrier and a first barrier are sequentially installed at the upper portion of an insulation layer. In particular, provided is a corner structure of an insulation system for a liquefied gas storage tank, which comprises: a lower corner panel which is installed at the inner wall of a hull after being bent at the same angle as the angle formed by two inner wall surfaces of the liquefied gas storage tank at the corner of the liquefied gas storage tank; a second barrier connecting unit which is installed at the bent portion on the inside of the lower corner panel such that the second barrier may be connected; a corner plywood which is installed at the inner side surface of the second barrier connecting unit facing the inner direction of the liquefied gas storage tank; and a first barrier connecting unit which is installed at the inner side surface of the corner plywood facing the inner direction of the liquefied gas storage tank such that the first barrier may be connected. The second barrier connecting unit comprises: a second corner steel which has a shape in which two metal plates having the area in the direction respectively in parallel with the two inner wall surfaces of the liquefied gas storage tank intersect with each other, and has the distal end of the second barrier connected by welding; and a hardwood block arranged between the lower corner panel and the second corner steel to support the second corner steel. The present invention is a structure in which a member connecting the second barrier and a member connecting the first barrier at the corner of the insulation system of the liquefied gas storage tank are separated from the hull. Therefore, concerns regarding deterioration in insulation performance and occurrence of a cold point can be eliminated, thereby significantly improving the structural performance of the insulation system.

    본 발명은 단열층의 상부에 2차 방벽과 1차 방벽이 순차적으로 설치되는 액화가스 저장탱크의 단열시스템에 있어서, 액화가스 저장탱크의 코너부에서 액화가스 저장탱크의 두 내벽면이 이루는 각도와 동일한 각도로 절곡되어 선체 내벽에 설치되는 하부 코너패널; 하부 코너패널의 내측 절곡 부위에 설치되어 2차 방벽이 연결되는 2차 방벽 연결유닛; 액화가스 저장탱크의 내측 방향을 향한 2차 방벽 연결유닛의 내측면에 설치되는 코너 플라이우드; 및 액화가스 저장탱크의 내측 방향을 향한 코너 플라이우드의 내측면에 설치되어 1차 방벽이 연결되는 1차 방벽 연결유닛을 포함하고, 상기 2차 방벽 연결유닛은, 액화가스 저장탱크의 두 내벽면과 각각 평행한 방향으로 면적을 가지는 두 개의 금속 플레이트가 교차하는 형태를 가지며 2차 방벽의 끝단이 용접에 의해 연결되는 2차 코너스틸; 및 하부 코너패널과 2차 코너스틸 사이에 배치되어 2차 코너스틸을 지지하는 하드우드 블럭을 포함하는, 액화가스 저장탱크 단열시스템의 코너부 구조를 제공한다. 본 발명은 액화가스 저장탱크 단열시스템의 코너부에서 2차 방벽을 연결하는 부재와 1차 방벽을 연결하는 부재가 선체로부터 분리되어 있는 구조로서, 단열성능의 저하 및 냉점 발생에 대한 우려가 없고 단열시스템의 구조적 성능이 현저히 향상되는 효과가 있다.
