Disclosed is a hydrogen power generation system for a ship. The hydrogen power generation system for a ship according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a ballast seawater electrolysis unit connected to a ballast tank where seawater is introduced and stored as ballast water for a ship and supplied with seawater by the ballast tank to perform electrolysis and generate hydrogen; a compressor connected to the ballast seawater electrolysis unit to compress the hydrogen generated by the ballast seawater electrolysis unit and prepare compressed hydrogen; and at least one dual fuel generator unit connected to the compressor and a diesel fuel tank and supplied with any one selected from the compressed hydrogen prepared by the compressor and a diesel fuel stored in the diesel fuel tank as a fuel to generate electricity needed for the ship. Accordingly, consumption of fossil fuel can be saved to protect the environment and enable a ship to be efficiently operated.

    선박의 수소발전 시스템이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 선박의 수소발전 시스템은, 선박의 평형수로서의 해수를 유입하여 적재하는 밸러스트 탱크와 연결되며, 밸러스트 탱크로부터 해수를 공급받아 전기분해하여 수소를 생성하는 밸러스트 해수 전기분해 유닛; 밸러스트 해수 전기분해 유닛과 연결되며, 밸러스트 해수 전기분해 유닛에서 생성된 수소를 압축시켜 압축수소를 형성시키는 압축기; 및 압축기 및 디젤연료탱크와 연결되며, 압축기에 의해 형성된 압축수소 및 디젤연료탱크에 저장된 디젤연료 중에서 선택된 어느 하나를 연료로서 공급받아 선박에서 필요한 전기를 발생시키는 적어도 하나의 듀얼 연료 제너레이터 유닛을 포함한다.
