The present invention relates to a driving apparatus for an electric vehicle, which reduces a tread of the vehicle by arranging driving motors in parallel and improves escape performance of the vehicle from a low friction road by sharing driving force of the driving motors to driving wheels on both sides. The present invention introduces the driving apparatus for the vehicle, comprising: a plurality of driving motors which provide the driving force to the driving wheels on both sides and are arranged in parallel with respect to an axis of the driving wheel; and a reducing gear unit which is respectively connected between the driving motor and the driving wheel and transfers the driving force of the driving motor to the driving wheel.
