The present invention relates to an electronic shift control apparatus and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, different types of haptic signals are generated by controlling an operation of a haptic actuator (50) according to a type of a shift stage signal (P.R.N.D) generated when a shift button (20) is operated. In addition, when an R-stage button (22) is operated, the operation of the haptic actuator (50) is controlled according to a separation distance from a vehicle rear object, so that the haptic signal may be additionally generated. The electronic shift control apparatus of the present invention comprises: a button housing; the shift button; a PCB; and the haptic actuator.

    본 발명은 전자식 변속조작장치 및 이의 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 변속버튼(20)을 조작할 때에 발생하는 변속단 신호(P.R.N.D)의 종류에 따라 햅틱 액추에이터(50)의 동작을 제어해서 서로 다른 유형의 햅틱신호가 발생되도록 하고, R단 버튼(22)의 조작시에는 차량 후방물체와의 이격거리에 따라 햅틱 액추에이터(50)의 동작을 제어해서 햅틱신호를 추가로 발생할 수 있도록 된 것이다.
