The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for producing a virtual after-burn effect in a vehicle and, more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for producing a virtual after-burn effect in an electric vehicle, having no internal combustion engine, according to vehicle driving conditions. Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for producing a virtual after-burn effect in an electric vehicle, wherein, in order to achieve the purpose, the method comprises the steps of: receiving, by a controller, vehicle driving information during vehicle driving; determining, by the controller, a virtual after-burn effect characteristic on the basis of the received vehicle driving information; outputting, by the controller, a control signal for producing the virtual after-burn effect on the basis of the determined virtual after-born effect characteristic information; and controlling, by the controller, an operation of an effect-production apparatus configured for producing the virtual after-burn effect on the basis of the control signal output by the controller.

    본 발명은 차량의 가상 후연소 효과 연출 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 내연기관이 부재한 전기자동차에서 차량의 주행 조건에 따라 가상의 후연소 효과를 연출할 수 있는 장치 및 방법을 제공하는데 주된 목적이 있는 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 전기자동차의 주행 동안 차량 운전 정보가 제어기에 입력되는 단계; 제어기에서 상기 입력되는 차량 운전 정보에 기초하여 가상 후연소 효과의 특성을 결정하는 단계; 제어기에서 상기 결정된 가상 후연소 효과의 특성 정보에 기초하여 가상 후연소 효과를 연출하기 위한 제어신호를 출력하는 단계; 및 제어기가 출력하는 제어신호에 따라 가상 후연소 효과를 연출하는 연출 기기의 작동이 제어되는 단계를 포함하는 전기자동차의 가상 후연소 효과 연출 방법, 및 그 장치가 개시된다.
